Minimum Qualifications

Must not be less than 18 years of age

Shall possess sufficient reading and math skills to satisfactorily complete on-the-job training and related technical instruction. A high school diploma or GED is recommended

Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the apprenticeship program

Valid driver's license and proof of reliable transportation

Must pass a drug test

Apprenticeship consists of :

On-the-Job Training

A MINIMUM of 144 hours per year of classroom and related trade training

Applications must be filled put and turned in on the same visit

Wages
Benefits
Starting pay for all trades is 50% of the journeyworker wage rate established by the trade specific collective bargaining agreement. Wage increases are based on hours of on-the-job training and compliance with the Training Center/ U.S. Department of Labor's apprenticeship standards.
Major health care, pension and annuity are included as a part of the wage package
